West Ham crushed Manchester United 4-0 on 30 November 2010 at Upton Park for the Carling Cup Quarter Final 1st Leg.
Jonathan Spector (twice) and Carlton Cole (twice) scored for The Hammers, who put a step in Semifinals!
West Ham 1 – 0 Manchester United: Spector
Victor Obinna from the edge of the area chips a ball to the near post where Jonathan Spector rises like a salmon to head past Tomas Kuszczak. Darren Flecther's marking is poor but take nothing away from that header.
West Ham 2 – 0 Manchester United : Spector
3A good night to haunt your old clubs and a bad night for football studs. Fabio da Silva attempts to clear a loose ball but he completely loses his standing foot allowing Jonathan Spector to steal in and fires past Kuszczak.
West Ham 3 – 0 Manchester United : Carlton Cole
Their first real attack this half sees Obinna cross from the left byline and Carlton Cole steal in six yards out to beat Jonny Evans to the ball where he headers past Kuszczak. Hammers surely heading for the semi-finals.
West Ham 4 – 0 Manchester United : Carlton Cole
Fergie looks stunned, the players look stunned I'm stunned. West Ham look like scoring with every attack! Rafael who has come on for his brother Fabio lets Obinna whip in (another) cross to Carlton Cole who after controlling it makes Evans look like a complete ametuer by turning around him and firing low past Kuszczak. Hammers fans are going nuts.
